Ingredients
- 12-pack Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 1 lb thinly sliced deli roast beef
- 6–8 slices provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp beef bouillon paste or 1 beef bouillon cube dissolved in 1 cup hot water (or 1 cup beef broth)
- 1 packet (about 1 oz) dry onion soup mix
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds (optional)
- Additional beef broth or bouillon for dipping, warmed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Carefully slice the entire pack of Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
- Layer the roast beef evenly over the bottom rolls, followed by the provolone cheese slices. Place the top halves of the rolls back on.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, beef bouillon/broth, dry onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder until well combined.
- Pour the butter mixture evenly over the top of the assembled sliders. Sprinkle with poppy seeds, if using.
- Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to lightly brown the tops.
- Let the sliders rest for 5 minutes before slicing along the perforations. Serve immediately with warm au jus for dipping.
