Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt, or to taste
- ¼ tsp black pepper, or to taste
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1–2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- Pinch of salt, for avocado
- 4–6 large flour tortillas (8–10 inch)
- 1 cup shredded romaine lettuce
- ¼ cup diced red onion (optional)
- Optional: hot sauce, Greek yogurt or sour cream for drizzling

- 1. Prepare the Chicken: In a medium bowl, toss chicken pieces with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cooked through and lightly browned. Set aside.
- 2. Assemble the Avocado Mash: In a separate bowl, mash the ripe avocados with a fork. Add fresh lime juice, a pinch of salt, and a dash of hot sauce (optional) to taste. Stir well.
- 3. Warm the Wraps: Warm tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for 15-20 seconds per side, or microwave for 20-30 seconds until soft and pliable.
- 4. Layer and Roll: Lay a warm tortilla flat. Spread a generous layer of avocado mash down the center. Top with spicy cooked chicken, shredded lettuce, diced red onion, and any optional drizzles. Fold in the sides, then tightly roll the wrap from the bottom up. Slice in half diagonally and serve immediately.
