Ingredients

  • 1 baguette or ciabatta loaf, sliced 1/2-inch thick
  • 34 ripe Roma tomatoes (about 1.5 lbs), diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chiffonaded
  • 34 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (plus more for bread)
  • 12 cloves garlic, peeled
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Optional: Balsamic glaze for drizzling

Instructions
