- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 large shallot, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken or seafood broth, warmed
- 1 lb medium-large shrimp, peeled and deveined, fresh or thawed
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- ¼ cup fresh parsley or dill, chopped, plus more for garnish
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
