Description
These vibrant Green Fruit Kabobs are incredibly easy to make and perfect for any occasion. Featuring a delightful mix of green grapes, kiwi, and honeydew, they offer a refreshing burst of sweet and tart flavors.
Ingredients
- 2 cups green grapes, seedless
- 4–5 medium kiwi, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 small honeydew melon, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 medium green apples (e.g., Granny Smith), cored and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 small cucumber (optional), peeled and sliced
- 1/2 lime or lemon, for juice
- 10–12 wooden or metal skewers (8–10 inch)
Instructions
- 1. Prepare the Fruit: Wash all fruits thoroughly. Peel kiwi and slice into 1/2-3/4 inch rounds or half-moons. Peel honeydew, remove seeds, and cut flesh into 1-inch cubes. Core apples and cut into 1-inch cubes (dip in lemon water to prevent browning if desired). Wash grapes and leave whole. Prepare cucumber if using.
- 2. Thread the Kabobs: Gently thread the prepared fruits onto the skewers, alternating between different types for visual appeal and varied textures (e.g., grape, kiwi, honeydew, apple, repeat). Leave a small space at each end of the skewer.
- 3. Finish & Serve: Once all kabobs are assembled, lightly squeeze fresh lime or lemon juice over them to add zest and help prevent browning. Arrange elegantly on a platter and serve immediately, or chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes for an extra refreshing treat.
