Ingredients
- 1 sheet (10. oz) frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3–4 tablespoons pepper jelly (your preferred heat level)
- Optional: 1 tablespoon fresh chives or green onions, finely chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unfold the thawed puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface. Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut into 24 uniform 2×2 inch squares.
- Place the pastry squares on the prepared baking sheet.
- Dollop about 1/2 teaspoon of softened cream cheese onto the center of each pastry square.
- Top each cream cheese dollop with about 1/2 teaspoon of pepper jelly.
- Bake for 12-18 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown and the jelly is bubbly.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Garnish with fresh chives, if desired, and serve warm or at room temperature.
