Ingredients
- 2 (21-ounce) cans strawberry pie filling
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (15.25-ounce) box yellow or white cake mix (do not prepare)
- 1 1/2 sticks (12 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Spread strawberry pie filling evenly in the prepared dish.
- In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese, sugar, and milk until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Dollop and gently spread over the strawberry layer.
- Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the cream cheese layer.
- Drizzle melted butter over the dry cake mix, ensuring good coverage.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly. Cool for at least 15-20 minutes before serving.
